  • What kind of projects does the course cover? In the workflow modules, we explore the process, using both residential and commercial spaces, including a kitchen, living, dining area and a retail shop. 
  • Do I need to purchase Sketchup to complete this course? The course can certainly be completed during the Sketchup trial period! That said, if you want to add Sketchup to your workflow as a designer, you will need to purchase a license for Sketchup Pro which includes the desktop app and the sister program Layout. (For university students, there are discounted versions of Sketchup available.)
  • What version of Sketchup does it teach? I'm using Sketchup 2024 - the desktop app - in the course. You'll need a desktop or laptop for this version. In order to get the most out of the software, it's not the iPad app.
  • When is the course available? You enrolment should be processed automatically, within 15 minutes usually, after you purchase. (Only if there is an issue with payment process or another glitch would there be a delay.)
  • Is it taught in inches or millimeters? Right now, the demonstrations are utilising inches. However, for the reference drawings and CAD files for the example projects, both inches and millimeters are provided.
